The B&T RBS Compact SF 7.62 / .308 Suppressor SD is a high-durability rifle suppressor designed by Swiss manufacturer Brügger & Thomet for modern tactical rifles chambered in 7.62×51 NATO (.308 Win) and similar calibers. It belongs to B&T’s RBS (Reduced Backpressure System) suppressor family, engineered to minimize gas blowback and improve reliability on semi-automatic and automatic firearms.

Unlike traditional sealed suppressors, the RBS design uses a flow-through internal architecture that vents excess gas forward rather than forcing it back through the rifle’s action. This helps reduce gas entering the shooter’s face and lowers the amount of pressure cycling through the firearm, making it particularly suitable for gas-operated rifles such as AR-10 platforms.
